Katy is not a Golden Retriever! We aquired her because Mike always loved Gordons and he thought he might try his hand at training one for hunt tests. However, Katy has terrible skin allergies so she could not have a career as a bird dog. Ann did put a CD on her in straight trials with acceptable scores, but she is mostly a pet and Mike's running companion. Katy has a quirky personality and enjoys her life as queen of the house. She appears to think that the Goldens are her inferiors because they require so much more training than she does!
