Kira

Kira is from Gaylan's kennel in NY and was the product of a very long search to find another Golden with excellent field and obedience potential that met the breed standard in both appearance  and temperament.  She lived up to our expectations!  She was an excellent marking dog who ran and swam hard and fast.  Kira always wanted to do the right thing and was a fun dog to train earning her SH (in 4 straight tests!) in 2010.

Kira had begun to run Master tests, but developed a chronic shoulder problem that didn't resolve despite rest and PT.  We made the difficult decision to retire her from competition to avoid permanent disability. She is now the pampered matriarch at our daughter and son-in-law's house.
